The boys second name, Maddy, actually is the first name of Dinand's former girlfriend, who also died of cancer. After Guusje Nederhorst's death, Dinand wrote and recorded his tribute to her: "Dreamer (Gussie's Song)". Most Dutch radio stations aired it on the day of her funeral (which would have been her 35th birthday), Feb. 04, 2004, at 12:00 pm. Directly after the single hit the streets a week later on Feb. 11, it entered the major Dutch hit lists at the No. 1 position.
