Partially retiring from VOCALOID production in August 2012, he is now focused on his professional career as a musician and composer.
In June 2016, four years after his retirement from VOCALOID, ryo once again used Hatsune Miku as the vocalist for the song 罪の名前 (Tsumi no Namae).
