Elliot meets Allison at the Book Gallery, where they discuss their mutual love for writing. Leslie spots Elliot talking to Connie and offers him a job at the mill, but Elliot is surly and refuses. Leslie declares that Elliot is his own worst enemy. Laura resigns as Dr. Rossi's office secretary, and Leslie suggests that she give up on trying to ""break"" Dr. Rossi. Norman brags to Rodney that he has a date with Allison, prompting a snowball fight between brothers.
