Being not fully recovered from the wound. Hong feels very painful when he takes part in the inter-departmental swimming competition. Wai Kong’s diagnosis shows that Hong will not be able to recover fully. Hong is terribly shocked by the news. During his stay in the hospital, Hong is attracted by Ka Man and he eagerly courts her. However, Ka Man has known Kai Kong since childhood. From close friends, they develop to lovers. Ka Man therefore disregards Hong’s wooing.
