Barry, a car enthusiast, is planning a street-legal Thunderbolt with a 427 V-8 engine, fibreglass hood, oversized rears, and racing seats. He plans to start his own DIY auction at the Speed Shop instead of risking an open auction. Barry, Becky, and Chris hope to attract high-rollers to participate in the bidding. The DIY auction is a first for Barry, but if he can convert his building skills into entrepreneurship, he has a chance. Becky and Jen become event managers, a first for both. Will they have to block off the street? Who's doing the catering? What about parking? Permits? Auctioneer? The event snowballs into an logistics nightmare. Tony, a paint and body guy, may even bid for the Thunderbolt himself. This could be their most eventful auction yet.
