Taking the opportunity that WAN has fainted, NAM and CHUNG make YUEN pour her heart out to WAN with a trick. Thanks to their trick the sisters have finally patched up with each other. CHUNG expresses his love for YUEN too, telling her he has made it clear to LAW already that he only loves her. Now that SHAN has returned to Cheung Lai Yuen, YUET hopes that both she and YIN can participate in the Belle Contest. Quizzed by YIN, BUT has no choice but to admit that he loves SHAN. YIN swears to take revenge on him. With a view to stopping YIN from forcing BUT to marry her, YAN tells her the truth, which comes as a terrible blow to her.
