LONG, always harassed by a man named WU by phone, speaks out her true love but SHEK, unexpectedly, is on line.
Although LONG denies what she said on the phone when SHEK questions her, SHEK is astonished to find the compass that LONG has bought as a gift to SHEK.
LONG raises money for HOME FOR THE DISGRACED but NAM and CHUNG turn up their noses at it. SHEK disagrees with them and helps LONG.
When the typhoon signal no.8 is hoisted and SHEK is on duty, LONG goes to the beach to fasten the sailboat but gets a fever.
