Her absence bewilders DAN, who fears that she might have met with an accident. DAN’s attitude toward FA strikes SAM that he has fallen in love with her subordinate. JOE asks to make up with SUSAN, who accepts his proposal. FA explains to DAN the reason behind her evasiveness. Only then he knows that FA has been in love with him secretly.
